The inspiration for this painting came from a Christmas card. One year I was just looking for simple subjects and was doing smaller paintings just to keep practicing. This year I was looking for painting to reconstruct and pulled this one out.
During a stormy morning I was watching the snow land on top of red berries on a tree and tried to capture that in this reconstructed watercolor.
